- This is an alternative montage for depression
- This montage uses 2 electrode placements, the anode is placed over the Fp1 zone and cathode can be placed over either CZ or OZ
- After four weeks of tDCS, overall mood improvement rates of 43.8% and 15.9% were observed under the Fp1-OZ and FP1-CZ conditions, respectively.
- Some side effects were tingling, burning, or itching, for a short time.
