Notes:

• To explore this hypothesis, 14 college students (mean age 22 (SD = 3), six males) performed a Sternberg task with distracter while receiving anodal left DLPFC tDCS and placebo stimulation. Saline-soaked, 5 x 7 cm electrodes were positioned over left DLPF (anodal electrode) and the right orbit (cathodal electrode). In the active tDCS condition, 1 mA current was applied for 10 min started simultaneously with the task and then automatically turned off.
